Abstract

Kita sebagai orang Kristen dipanggil Allah untuk hidup dalam ketaatan. Itulah sebabnya, sekolah perlu turut mengambil bagian untuk menanamkan sikap disiplin terhadap seluruh siswa agar setiap siswa dapat dituntun dalam meresponi panggilan Allah, yaitu hidup dalam ketaatan. Akan tetapi, peneliti menemukan masih cukup banyak siswa kelas XI IPA pada salah satu sekolah Kristen di Tangerang yang bersikap tidak disiplin selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Permasalahan ini bertentangan dengan tujuan dari pendidikan Kristen, yaitu membentuk setiap siswa menjadi pengikut Kristus yang bertanggungjawab. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tujuan penulisan proyek akhir ini adalah untuk menerapkan token ekonomi sebagai upaya guru Kristen dalam mengatasi perilaku tidak disiplin siswa di dalam kelas dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penerapan token ekonomi menunjukkan bahwa upaya penerapan token ekonomi terbukti efektif untuk mengatasi perilaku tidak disiplin siswa kelas XI IPA. Langkah-langkah penerapan token ekonomi adalah mengambil data awal, menentukan perilaku yang menjadi sasaran, memilih token, identifikasi penguat cadangan, memutuskan positif reinforcement, memutuskan negatif reinforcement, menetapkan nilai tukar token, dan penukaran token. Peneliti menyarankan peneliti selanjutnya untuk menerapkan token ekonomi ini dalam jangka waktu yang lebih panjang dan secara konsisten menekankan kepada siswa mengenai pentingnya sikap disiplin./We as Christians are called by God to live in obedience. Therefore, schools need to take part in instilling a disciplined attitude towards all students so that each student can be guided in responding to God's calling, that is to live in obedience. However, researcher found that there were quite a lot of students had an undisciplined attitude during learning. This problem is contrary to the aim of Christian education, that is to shape every student into a responsible follower of Christ. Based on these problems, the aim of writing this final project is to examine the application of token economics as an effort by Christian teachers to overcome students' undisciplined behavior in the classroom by using qualitative descriptive methods. The results of applying economic tokens show that efforts to apply economic tokens have proven effective in overcoming the undisciplined behavior of class XI science students. This fact can be seen based on several student attitudes, which are students do the exercise given with integrity, students do not move to their friends' seats, and students focus on listening to the teacher when teaching, students bring textbooks, students are active and involved in learning in class. However, researcher suggests that teachers should apply this token economy over a longer period and consistently emphasize to students the importance of discipline.
