Penelitian ini membahas terkait perlindungan identitas terhadap anak “AG” yang merupakan seorang anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum, yang identitasnya disebarluaskan oleh media massa secara jelas di media sosial. Terhadap anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum, walaupun diduga telah melakukan suatu tindak pidana, akan tetapi ini tidak boleh mendapatkan suatu perlakuan yang berbeda dengan anak yang lainnya, hanya karena anak tersebut berkonflik dengan hukum, oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya suatu perlindungan khusus salah satunya terkait dengan kerahasiaan identitas. Hasil dari penulisan tugas akhir ini menunjukkan terdapat beberapa pengaturan terkait pertanggungjawaban terhadap media massa yang telah menyebarkan identitas anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum secara jelas, beberapa Undang-Undang yaitu Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2014 tentang Perlindungan Anak dan Undang Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2012 tentang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak. / This study discusses the identity protection of the child "AG" who is a child in conflict with the law, whose identity is disseminated by the mass media clearly on social media. For children who are in conflict with the law, even though they are suspected of having committed a criminal act, but this should not get a different treatment from other children, just because the child is in conflict with the law, therefore there is a need for special protection, one of which is related to confidentiality of identity. The results of writing this final project show that there are several arrangements related to accountability for mass media that have clearly spread the identity of children who face the law, several laws, namely Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection and Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System.
