Abstract
Pada praktik pendidikan secara umum, siswa dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan literasi. Literasi sains adalah kemampuan untuk mengidentifikasi pertanyaan, menarik kesimpulan, dan mampu mengaplikasikan pengetahuan tentang sains dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Literasi sains dalam pendidikan Kristen akan menolong siswa semakin mengenal Allah dan ciptaan-Nya dengan melihat keteraturan yang telah Allah ciptakan dalam setiap diri makhluk hidup. Adapun tujuan dari proyek akhir ini adalah untuk menjelaskan penerapan presentation activity untuk melatih kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas XI. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Kesimpulannya, penerapan
presentation activity di kelas XI pada topik Jaringan Tumbuhan dapat dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah seperti penetapan topik presentasi, mengetahui kebutuhan audience, menetapkan tujuan presentasi, menetapkan inti dari informasi yang hendak disampaikan, membuat isi presentasi, menentukan pembukaan dan penutup dari presentasi, serta membuat catatan khusus untuk presentasi. Keberhasilan presentation activity dilihat dari tercapainya indikator literasi sains, yaitu
menjawab, menjelaskan, menganalisis, mengidentifikasi, dan melakukan penelusuran literatur. Bagi penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan untuk lebih memikirkan waktu presentasi dan persiapan guru ketika akan mengajar. Saran
untuk sekolah adalah dengan mengadakan pelatihan guru untuk menguasai literasi sains dan pelatihan untuk membuat soal-soal berbasis literasi sains./In the context of general education, literacy skills are a must for students. The
capacity to recognize problems, reach conclusions, and use scientific information in daily situations is known as scientific literacy. Students who are scientifically literate in Christian education will have a deeper understanding of God and His creation as they recognize the order found in all living things. This final project's
goal is to clarify how presentation activities might be used to help students in class XI develop their scientific literacy. The descriptive qualitative approach of analysis
is applied. Finally, incorporate presenting exercises into the classroom and prepare extra notes for the presentation. Answering, explaining, identifying and analyzing questions are examples of scientific literacy indicators that demonstrate how well the presentation activity went earching for relevant literature and locating it. It is advised to consider presentation timings and teacher preparation more in order to do additional study. It is suggested that schools provide scientific literacy training for teachers as well as instruction on how to formulate questions based on
scientific literacy.
