Abstract

Hubungan romantis merupakan hal yang penting dalam kehidupan manusia, terutama pada masa perkembangan emerging adulthood. Kualitas pada hubungan romantis dapat dilihat dari tingkat romantic relationship satisfaction yang dipengaruhi oleh romantic beliefs individu. Pada penggemar K-Pop, hubungan kedua variabel ini dapat diperkuat atau diperlemah dengan kehadiran parasocial relationship yang dibangun oleh penggemar terhadap idolanya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran moderasi dari parasocial relationship pada hubungan antara romantic beliefs dengan romantic relationship satisfaction pada emerging adulthood penggemar K-Pop yang berpacaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dan analisis model moderasi dengan instrumen penelitian Multiple-Parasocial Relationship, Relationship Assessment Scale, dan Romantic Beliefs Scale. Penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap 118 orang emerging adulthood di Indonesia ini menemukan bahwa parasocial relationship tidak memiliki peran moderasi dalam hubungan romantic beliefs dengan romantic relationship satisfaction. Selain itu, terdapat korelasi positif antara romantic beliefs dengan romantic relationship satisfaction / Romantic relationships are important in human life, especially during emerging adulthood. The quality of romantic relationships can be seen from the level of romantic relationship satisfaction which is influenced by individual romantic beliefs. For K-Pop fans, the relationship between these two variables can be strengthened or weakened by the presence of parasocial relationship built by fans towards their idols. Therefore, this study aims to look at the moderating role of parasocial relationships on the relationship between romantic beliefs and romantic relationship satisfaction in emerging adulthood of K-Pop fans who are dating. This research uses a quantitative design and moderation model analysis with the research instruments Multiple-Parasocial Relationship, Relationship Assessment Scale, and Romantic Beliefs Scale. The research conducted on 118 emerging adulthoods in Indonesia found that parasocial relationship do not have a moderating role in the relationship between romantic beliefs and romantic relationship satisfaction. There is also a positive correlation between romantic beliefs and romantic relationship satisfaction.
