Abstract
Guru dalam membangun pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang aktif dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode belajar guna mengembangkan minat belajar siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran. Akan tetapi, faktanya tidak semua siswa memiliki minat belajar terhadap pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Pada saat proses pembelajaran siswa terlihat kurang aktif dan tidak fokus selama mendengarkan penjelasan guru. Penelitian dan penulisan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan penerapan metode pembelajaran project based learning untuk mengembangkan minat belajar siswa dalam pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Melalui penelitian yang dilakukan, bahwa metode pembelajaran project based learning mampu mengembangkan minat belajar siswa terhadap pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya keaktifan siswa, rasa ingin tahu yang mendalam, keinginan untuk menaruh banyak perhatian, dan mampu mengikuti pembelajaran. Pada saat guru sudah mampu mendorong minat belajar, siswa dapat memberi sikap yang benar dan menikmati proses pembelajaran sebagai salah satu anugerah yang diberikan Tuhan untuk mengenal keunikan bahasa Indonesia sebagai karya Tuhan. Pada penelitian selanjutnya, penulis menyarankan untuk mengobservasi siswa dan mengevaluasi penerapannya agar dapat diterapkan dengan lebih baik sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar siswa di kelas.

Teachers in building active Indonesian language learning can be done by using learning methods to develop students' interest in learning during the learning process. However, the fact is that not all students have an interest in learning Indonesian lessons. During the learning process, students seem less active and unfocused while listening to the teacher's explanation. This research and writing uses a qualitative descriptive method that aims to explain the application of project-based learning methods to develop students' interest in learning Indonesian. Through the research conducted, the project-based learning method is able to develop students' interest in learning Indonesian. This can be seen from the students' activeness, deep curiosity, desire to pay a lot of attention, and ability to follow the learning. When the teacher has been able to encourage interest in learning, students can give the right attitude and enjoy the learning process as one of the gifts given by God to recognize the uniqueness of Indonesian language as God's work. In future research, the author suggests observing students and evaluating the implementation so that it can be better applied according to the learning needs of students in the classroom.
