Abstract

Perilaku konsumtif didefinisikan sebagai suatu kecenderungan perilaku yang ditunjukan oleh individu dalam melakukan transaksi/pembelian yang berlebihan untuk memenuhi want/keinginan dan bukan needs/kebutuhannya. Salah satu aspek yang memengaruhi timbulnya perilaku konsumtif pada individu adalah konformitas. Konformitas merupakan dorongan atau tekanan yang muncul pada individu untuk dapat menyamakan/menyesuaikan dirinya dengan kelompok sosial, atau mendapat pengakuan tertentu dari individu lain. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh konformitas terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada mahasiswa penggemar Korean Pop di lingkup Jabodetabek. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian regresi berganda kepada 52 partisipan mahasiswa penggemar Korean Pop di lingkup Jabodetabek. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur pada penelitian ini menggunakan Skala Konformitas oleh Durandt & Wibowo (2021) sebanyak 17 aitem, skala perilaku konsumtif oleh Fadillah & Ratnasari (2023) sebanyak 50 aitem. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan maupun pengaruh yang signifikan pada konformitas terhadap perilaku konsumtif/Consumptive behavior is defined as a behavioral tendency shown by individuals in making excessive transactions/purchases to fulfill wants/desires and not needs/needs. One aspect that influences the emergence of consumptive behavior in individuals is conformity. Conformity is an urge or pressure that arises in individuals to be able to equalize / adjust themselves to social groups, or get certain recognition from other individuals. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing and analyzing whether or not there is an influence of conformity on consumptive behavior in Korean Pop fan students in the Jabodetabek area. The research was conducted using quantitative methods with multiple regression research design to 52 participants of Korean Pop fan students in the Jabodetabek area. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The measuring instrument in this study used the Conformity Scale by Durandt & Wibowo (2021) as many as 17 items, the consumptive behavior scale by Fadillah & Ratnasari (2023) as many as 50 items. The results showed that there was no significant relationship or influence on conformity on consumptive behavior.
