Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh peran ayah terhadap tingkat neurotik pada remaja akhir berusia 18-22 tahun di Indonesia. Relasi dalam keluarga mempengaruhi kecenderungan neurotik. Penelitian selama ini hanya melihat dari peran kedua orang tua, tetapi tidak pernah secara spesifik meneliti mengenai peran ayah dan kaitannya terhadap emosi negatif neurotik yang merupakan bagian dimensi dari Big Five Personality. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif Cross-Sectional Studies. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu Skala Keterlibatan Ayah dan The Big Five Inventory. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja akhir di Indonesia berusia 18-22 tahun sebanyak 347 orang, yang diperoleh dengan metode convenience non probability sampling. Hasil penelitian belum dapat disimpulkan karena data yang analisis adalah data yang tidak normal dan tidak memenuhi uji asumsi klasik./This study aims to examine the influence of the father's role on the level of neuroticism in adolescents aged 18-22 years in Indonesia. Family relationships influence neurotic tendencies. Research so far has never specifically examined the role of fathers and their relationship to negative neurotic. The research method used is quantitative with the principle of Cross-Sectional Studies causality. The measuring instruments used are the Father's Involvement Scale and The Big Five Inventory. The subjects of this research were 347 adolescents in Indonesia aged 18-22 years, who were obtained using the convenience non probability sampling method. The results of the research cannot be concluded because the data analyzed is abnormal data and does not meet the classical assumption test.
