Abstract
Siswa dikatakan berhasil dalam proses belajarnya jika mampu mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah dirancang dalam wujud hasil belajar. Realita yang ditemukan dalam pembelajaran yaitu siswa memiliki hasil belajar rendah pada aspek kognitif yang meliputi tiga indikator yaitu membandingkan, menjelaskan, dan menganalisis. Penerapan model pembelajaran Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dengan memenuhi ketiga modalitas gaya belajar sehingga meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penulisan Proyek Akhir ini adalah memaparkan penerapan model pembelajaran Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) mampu membantu peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada topik Virus. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil belajar kognitif dipandang sebagai anugerah dari Tuhan, yang memerlukan tanggung jawab dari diri siswa dalam mengembangkan potensi yang telah diberikan. Model pembelajaran VAK mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada topik Virus, yang dapat dilihat melalui peningkatan indikator hasil belajar pada setiap pertemuannya dan 84% siswa lulus standar nilai pada penilaian sumatif topik Virus. Saran dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran VAK, yaitu diberikan video animasi untuk menjelaskan suatu konsep materi untuk mendukung efektivitas model pembelajaran VAK serta manajemen waktu yang baik pada setiap kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan. / Students are said to be successful in their learning process if they are able to achieve the learning objectives that have been designed in the form of learning outcomes. The reality found in learning is that students have low learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect which includes three indicators, namely comparing, explaining and analyzing. The application of the Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model is effective in increasing student activity by fulfilling the three learning style modalities thereby improving student learning outcomes. The purpose of writing this Final Project is to explain the application of the Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model which can help improve student learning outcomes on the topic of Viruses. This writing uses descriptive qualitative methods. Cognitive learning outcomes are seen as a gift from God, which requires responsibility from students in developing the potential they have been given. The VAK learning model is able to improve student learning outcomes on the Virus topic, which can be seen through increasing learning outcome indicators at each meeting and 84% of students passing the standard score on the summative assessment on the Virus topic. Suggestions for using the VAK learning model, namely providing an animated video to explain a material concept to support the effectiveness of the VAK learning model as well as good time management in each learning activity carried out.
