Abstract
In this study, the author observe the impact of uncertainty on corporate investment inefficiencies. The sample that this thesis includes firms in Asia-pacific countries with the observations period from 2008 to 2021, indicates that uncertainty drives up investment inefficiency, specifically overinvestment problems. Furthermore, the author also find that uncertainty positively affect companies in high- and middle-income country level, driving up their overinvestment problem. While lowering their underinvestment problem in low-income country level.
