Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transaksional dan kompetensi karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan divisi penjualan di PT. XYZ baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kepuasan kerja. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua karyawan divisi penjualan di PT. XYZ yang sudah bekerja minimal 1 tahun dan memiliki latar belakang pendidikan minimal Diploma (D1/D2/D3). Sampel yang digunakan adalah karyawan sebanyak 163 responden, dan teknik pengambilan sampe yang digunakan yaitu non – probability purposive sampling. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer, dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dan menggunakan pendekatan structural equation modelling (SEM) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 4.0.9.6. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transaksional dan kompetensi memiliki pengaruh positif serta signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Gaya kepemimpinan transaksional dan kompetensi memiliki pengaruh positif serta signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif serta signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. / This study aims to analyze the influence of transactional leadership style and employee competence on the performance of sales division employees at PT. XYZ either directly or indirectly through job satisfaction. The population in this study is all employees of the sales division at PT. XYZ who have worked for at least 1 year and have a minimum educational background Diploma (D1/D2/D3). The sample used was 163 respondents, and the sampling technique used was non-probability purposive sampling. The data source used is primary data, with data collection methods in the form of questionnaires and using a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach with the help of SmartPLS 4.0.9.6 software. The results show that transactional leadership style and employee competence have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. Transactional leadership style and employee competence have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, and job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.
