Dalam Pengaturan fasilitas produksi dengan baik turut menentukan daya saing perusahaan dalam hal kapasitas, fleksibilitas, proses, dan biaya. Permasalahan yang sering muncul apabila pengaturan tata letak fasilitas produksi tidak disusun dengan baik adalah besarnya momen yang dihasilkan pada proses material handling. Pada penelitian ini, pengaturan tata letak fasilitas pabrik dilakukan dengan pengelompokan fasilitas clustering pada Data Mining. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan usulan perbaikan tata letak fasilitas pada PTC Surabaya yang mampu meminimasi jarak material handling. Berdasarkan hasil pengelompokan fasilitas dan Data Mining, diperoleh tiga alternatif layout baru untuk PTC Surabaya. Dari ketiga layout tersebut dipilih layout alternatif 3 untuk diusulkan kepada pihak perusahaan, karena memiliki momen perpindahan material handling yang lebih kecil dibandingkan momen perpindahan material layout alternatif 1 dan layout alternatif 2 serta material handling layout awal. Dengan bentuk layout usulan tersebut, pengurangan jarak material handling beserta biaya material handling per meter yang dapat dilakukan adalah sebesar 27 %. / In a production setting with good facilities also determine the competitiveness of the company in terms of capacity, flexibility, processes, and costs. In this study, plant layout and facility clustering is done by grouping facilities on Data Mining. This study aims to provide suggestions for improvement to the facility layout Surabaya PTC is capable of minimizing the material handling distances. Based on the results of clustering and data mining facility, acquired three new alternative layouts for PTC Surabaya.
