Abstract
Produktivitas merupakan isu penting pada era globalisasi saat ini. PT
Konimex menyadari bahwa persaingan industri pada era globalisasi semakin
ketat. Salah satu hal yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan daya saing adalah
aktivitas kalibrasi untuk menghindari kesalahan takaran pada produk obat.
Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah Departemen kalibrasi PT Konimex tidak dapat
mencapai target di setiap bulan. Melalui data outstanding pada bulan Januari
sampai dengan September 2013 diperoleh terdapat ratusan objek yang tidak
dikalibrasi. Jumlah outstanding menunjukkan bahwa departemen kalibrasi masih
belum produktif.
Penelitian ini diawali dengan melakukan pengamatan studi waktu kerja untuk
menentukan waktu baku. Selanjutnya, dari data aktual kegiatan kalibrasi
dilakukan analisis dan perbaikan dengan pendekatan sistem dinamis. Melalui
sistem dinamis dapat diketahui faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap perilaku sistem
pada siklus pekerjaan kalibrasi sehingga dapat menentukan strategi terbaik untuk
meningkatkan produktivitas departemen kalibrasi. Analisis data diawali dengan
pembuatan diagram sebab-akibat dan diagram stok-aliran dilanjutkan dengan
simulasi model menggunakan software Stella v9.0.2.
Dari tiga skenario simulasi yang dilakukan, strategi terbaik untuk
meningkatkan produktivitas departemen kalibrasi adalah dengan cara
meningkatkan produktivitas teknisi kalibrasi dan menurunkan waktu baku.
Produktivitas teknisi dapat ditingkatkan karena adanya pengawasan, ketersediaan
alat, kejelasan spesifikasi teknis, peningkatan motivasi kerja dan peningkatan
kemampuan teknisi.

Konimex realizes that industrial competition become more stringent in this
globalization era. One thing to increase the competitiveness is calibration to
avoid dosage error of medical production. The problem of Calibration
Department is can not reach the target every month. Results from the outstanding
data from January until September 2013, there are a hundreds of objects that uncalibrated. This data shows that calibration department not productive yet.
The research started with observation of work study to determine the standard
time. Then, from actual data of calibration, an analysis and improvement with
system dynamic approach is conducted. This method enables the organization
knows the influencing factors of system behavior of calibration workflow. Data
analysis started with formulation of causal loop diagram and stock-flow diagram,
then simulated with Stella v9.0.2 software.
From three simulation scenario, the best strategy to improve productivity of
calibration department is increasing the technician productivity and decreasing
the standard time. Technician productivity can improved because of monitoring,
availability of tools, clearly technic specification, increase work motivation and
increase the technician’s skill.
