Saat ini proses produksi pada perusahaan sering mengalami ketidaktepatan waktu produksi, yang disebabkan oleh keterlambatan dalam melakukan pengadaan bahan baku. untuk mengurangi ketidaktepatan tersebut akan dilakukan analisa perencanaan bahan baku menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity. Dalam metode tersebut mampu mencari nilai safety stock dan reorder point yang berguna untuk perusahaan yang belum menerapkan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan secara langsung dari perusahaan. Dari data yang didapatkan dilakukan perhitungan untuk mencari nilai yang diperlukan dalam penelitian. Formula yang digunakan dalam perhitungan seperti nilai EOQ (economic order quantity), total cost, safety stock, dan reorder point. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dibuktikan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode EOQ perusahaan dapat melakukan penghematan dalam pengadaan bahan baku/kemasan sebesar 45% - 52%. / PT.
