Abstract
Instagram is one of the social media that has a lot of users. The use of Instagram in Indonesia has widely developed from not only companies, trading companies, but also segregates to the sports world, including football. Nowadays, nearly all of the sports club around the world are using Instagram. Although the main purpose of Instagram football club is to provide information from the media and as the connector between the club itself, players and supporters, Instagram also acts as a persuasion tool. Through Instagram, the content of the club can have a positive impact on supporters. One of the football club that uses Instagram as the persuasion tool for supporters is the Jakarta Persija club that has an Instagram account on @persijajkt.
This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods. Data collection is done with primary data that consists of in-depth interviews, observations as well as secondary data that is looking at information from written sources.
The result of this study indicates that Persija Jakarta as a club in this case has taken the right step by using Instagram as a persuasion tool to spread positive information and messages on their Instagram account. Later on, the positive message of persuasion should be massively disseminated thus creates real action on the Jakmania camp and finally shapes Jakmania as a better supporter by promoting the spirit of positive fanaticism.
/ Instagram merupakan media sosial yang memiliki banyak pengguna. Bukan hanya perorangan, tapi juga institusi, perusahaan dagang sampai merambah ke dunia olahraga, salah satunya sepak bola. Hampir seluruh klub-klub besar di dunia menggunakan Instagram. Walaupun tujuan utama dari instagram klub sepak bola sebagai media informasi dan penghubung antara klub, pemain dan supporter, instagram juga berperan sebagai sarana persuasi. Melalui Instagram, konten serta isi pesan klub sepak bola dapat berdampak positif bagi suporter. Salah satu klub sepak bola yang menggunakan instagram sebagai sarana persuasi untuk para suporter adalah klub Persija Jakarta dengan akun instagram @persijajkt.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam dan observasi serta data sekunder yaitu melihat informasi dari sumber tertulis. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Persija Jakarta sebagai sebuah klub dalam hal ini sudah mengambil langkah yang tepat dengan menggunakan instagram sebagai sarana untuk menyebarkan informasi dan pesan-pesan persuasi yang bersifat positif pada akun Instagram @persijajkt. Kedepannya pesan persuasi tersebut harus semakin masif disebarluaskan hingga menjadi suatu tindakan nyata pada kubu The Jakmania dan menjadikan The Jakmania sebagai suporter yang lebih baik lagi dengan mengedepankan semangat fanatisme positif.
