Angka perceraian di Indonesia terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Informasi atau konten mengenai perceraian, termasuk di dalamnya permasalahan rumah tangga public figure, seperti artis, politisi, dan sebagainya begitu mudah tersebar dan diakses di media sosial. Bahkan informasi atau konten semacam ini sangat diminati khalayak yang dilihat dari tingginya jumlah respons di media sosial. Sebagai negara yang menjunjung tinggi nilai atau ajaran agama, tentu hal ini menimbulkan masalah tersendiri. Terutama dalam ajaran agama Kristen yang dengan tegas menentang terjadinya perceraian. Lantas, bagaimana penerimaan jemaat Kristiani dalam hal ini dari GKMI Pati dan Jakarta terhadap derasnya konten perceraian artis di media sosial, terutama yang terdapat dalam program Youtube Denny Sumargo? Melalui analisis resepsi Stuart Hall, diketahui bahwa konten media telah disisipi pesan dari pembuatnya (encoding), namun penafsiran khalayak (decoding) sangat bergantung pada kondisi sosial budaya serta agama yang dianut. Dalam penelitian ini didapati bahwa khalayak termasuk dalam posisi the negotiated, artinya mereka dapat menerima pesan tersirat namun dengan syarat tertentu. Hal ini sekaligus menunjukkan bahwa khalayak telah terliterasi dengan baik dan selektif dalam menggunakan media sosial. / The divorce rate in Indonesia continues to increase every year. In fact, this kind of information or content is highly sought after by the public as seen from the high number of responsses on social media. As a country that upholds religious values or teachings, of course this causes its own problems. Especially in the teachings of the Christian religion which firmly opposes divorce. So, what is the reception of the Kristiani congregation in this case and GK MI Pati and Jakarta towards the torrent of artist divorce content on social media. especially those found in Denny Sumargo's YouTube program? Through Stuart Hall'sreception analysis, it is known that media content has been inserted with messages from the creator (encoding), but the audience's interpretation (decoding) is very dependent on socio-cultural conditions and the religion adhered to. In this research, it was found that audiences are included ni the negotiated position, meaning they can receive implied messages. However, with certain conditions, this also ensures that the audience is well literate and selective in using the media.
