Abstract
Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat atau PKM adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa untuk melakukan kegiatan yang mengarah kepada pelayanan bagi masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kepedulian dan keterampilan. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan PKM ini adalah untuk memberikan ilmu kepada masyarakat dan keterampilan pada masyarakat yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa yang telah mempelajari mata kuliah berdasarkan apa yang telah di pelajari sebelumnya di Fakultas Pariwisata, Universitas Pelita Harapan. Tujuan PKM ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan kepada sejumlah murid sekolah di SMK Gema Gawita Tangerang terhadap hidangan Khas Indonesia berbahan dasar ikan yaitu Pepes Ikan Mas dan Patin Pucung yang bisa dijadikan upaya agar murid murid dapat memahami betapa pentingnya mengkonsumsi ikan dan mengembangkan keterampilan memasak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan dalam keterampilan murid dalam membuat pepes ikan mas dan patin pucung Selain itu, para peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan dalam pemahaman tentang nilai gizi dan keunikan rasa dari hidangan tersebut. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan pembuatan pepes ikan mas dan patin pucung bukan hanya meningkatkan keterampilan praktis murid, tetapi juga meningkatkan apresiasi terhadap warisan kuliner tradisional / Community Service or PKM is an activity carried out by students to engage in activities that serve the community to enhance awareness and skills. The purpose of implementing this PKM is to share knowledge and skills with the community, acquired by students who have studied courses based on what has been learned earlier at the Faculty of Tourism, Universitas Pelita Harapan. The goal of this PKM is to introduce a number of high school students at SMK Gema Gawita Tangerang to Indonesian specialty dishes made from fish, namely Pepes Ikan Mas and Patin Pucung, as an effort for students to understand the importance of consuming fish and to develop cooking skills. The research results show an improvement in the students' skills in making Pepes Ikan Mas and Patin Pucung. In addition, participants also demonstrate an increase in understanding the nutritional value and unique taste of these dishes. In conclusion, the training in making Pepes Ikan Mas and Patin Pucung not only enhances the practical skills of the students but also increases appreciation for traditional culinary heritage.
