A STUDY OF CRIMINOLOGY IN ACTS OF BRAWLING VIOLENCE PERMITTED BY CHILDREN IN THE TANGERANG CITY AREA (xiv+143) The criminal act of brawling by children is a social phenomenon that is increasingly worrying among society, not only does it cause victims, but this act is carried out by a child who should undergo a good education to grow and develop into a good person. Criminology is a scientific discipline that studies the science, theories, and principles related to criminal behavior, crime, and the criminal justice system. Which is explained through statutory regulations regarding the handling of children who are in conflict with the law and the prevention efforts carried out, especially in the Tangerang City area. The aim of this research is to analyze the science of criminology in an effort to understand, prevent and provide advice in overcoming violent brawls by children. The method used in this research is normative empirical with a judicial case study and live case study approach and uses primary and secondary data types. Researchers also used literature studies and structured interviews as data collection methods and used qualitative data and quantitative data for analysis. Based on the results of the research, researchers concluded that acts of brawling violence committed by children are called Juvenile Delinquency. The science of criminology explains the relationship between violent acts of brawling by children through psychological and sociological perspectives which are explained by psychoanalytic theory, hedonistic psychology theory, attachment theory, substructural delinquency theory, differential association theory, and social counter theory. This is also related to law enforcement carried out against children., the application of statutory regulations to children in conflict with the law, considering that children have the right to be treated differently from criminal acts committed by adults.
