Abstract

The results of this study will provide valuable input for hotel management in designing more effective strategies to improve the quality of interaction and communication between various hierarchical levels within the front office department. By understanding how different leadership styles can affect job satisfaction, management can adapt their approach to better suit the preferences and needs of employees. This, in turn, will lead to increased employee motivation and involvement in their work. The research has purpose to know the effect of communication and leadership style on employee performance at Renaissance Uluwatu Resort &Spa. The research types by the writer are descriptive research and correlationalresearch. The data analysis methods used in this research are descriptive statistic,validity test, reliability test, normality test, multiple correlation tests, coefficient of correlation, coefficient ofdetermination, multiple linear regression equations, T-tests and F tests. The research results show that there is the impact of communication toward employee satisfaction at Renaissance Uluwatu Resort & Spa. There is the impact of leadership style toward employee satisfaction at Renaissance Uluwatu Resort & Spa. There are impacts of communication and leadership styles toward employee satisfaction at Renaissance Uluwatu Resort & Spa./ Hasil penelitian ini akan memberikan masukan berharga bagi manajemen hotel dalam merancang strategi yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas interaksi dan komunikasi antar berbagai level hierarki dalam departemen front office. Dengan memahami bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan yang berbeda dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja, manajemen dapat menyesuaikan pendekatan mereka agar lebih sesuai dengan preferensi dan kebutuhan karyawan. Hal ini pada gilirannya akan meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan karyawan dalam pekerjaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan di Renaissance Uluwatu Resort &SPA. Jenis penelitian yang penulis lakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif dan penelitian korelasional. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji korelasi berganda, koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi, persamaan regresi linier berganda, uji T dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh komunikasi terhadap kepuasan karyawan Renaissance Uluwatu Resort & Spa. Terdapat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan karyawan di Renaissance Uluwatu Resort & Spa. Terdapat pengaruh komunikasi dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan karyawan di Renaissance Uluwatu Resort & Spa.
