This study, is titled “Legal Protection Against Land Mafia Victims from a Legal Perspective” is a comprehensive study conducted by Hansen Sanjaya as a part of academic requirements for the Law degree at Universitas Pelita Harapan. This research investigates the nature of legal accountability for victims of land mafia in Indonesia and explores measures to mitigate such cases. The main questions addressed are the forms of legal responsibility towards victims and the efforts made to reduce land mafia incidents in Indonesia. This study aims for every person to understand the legal responsibilities towards victims and the efforts of the government to reduce land mafia cases in Indonesia, thereby contributing to deeper understanding and new perspectives on the topic. Theoretically, it enriches knowledge about land mafia cases in Indonesia, agrarian law, and the legal responses to such crimes. Practically, it serves as valuable resources for further research and raises public awareness about legal accountability for land mafia victims. This study is structured into five chapthers, encompassing the introduction of theoretical foundations, research methods, findings and analysis, and conclusions and recommendations. The research method involves a normative legal approach, analyzing primary and secondary legal materials. The results reveal the complexities of the land mafia issue in Indonesia, including legal system vulnerabilities and factors driving these practices. The conclusion emphasizes the need for legal reforms and improved land policies to enhance protection for victims and reduce land mafia cases. This study offers significant insights into addressing land-related legal challenges in Indonesia.
