Abstract

Beberapa tahun belakangan telah terjadi penurunan siswa dan penerimaan siswa baru di Sekolah Kristen Tunas Harapan, Bogor. Untuk memperbaiki permasalahan ini perlu diadakan perbaikan kualitas sekolah yang dimulai dari perbaikan kualitas guru dan manajemen sekolah. Keterlibatan pekerja dan kepuasan kerja mempengaruhi performa guru. Kepemimpinan teladan serta iklim sekolah mempengaruhi Keterlibatan pekerja dan kepuasan kerja. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penelitian mengenai empat variabel tersebut yaitu apakah kepemimpinan teladan dan iklim sekolah berpengaruh terhadap keterlibatan pekerja dan kepuasan kerja. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada 78 pekerja. Data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial dengan menggunakan SmartPls 4. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dibuktikan bahwa variabel kepemimpinan teladan dan iklim sekolah memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan baik secara independen maupun secara simultan terhadap keterlibatan pekerja. Dengan demikian, adanya perubahan pada kepemimpinan teladan dan iklim sekolah akan memberikan dampak pada keterlibatan pekerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kurangnya bukti yang mendukung hipotesa bahwa kepemimpinan teladan memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja sebaliknya iklim sekolah memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kepemimpinan teladan memberikan pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja melalui iklim sekolah atau dapat dikatakan bahwa kepemimpinan teladan berpengaruh positif terhadap iklim sekolah yang kemudian akan mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja. / In recent years, there has been a decline in students and new student admissions at the Tunas Harapan Christian School, Bogor. To fix this problem, it is necessary to improve the quality of schools starting from improving the quality of teachers and school management. Employee engagement and job satisfaction influence teacher performance. Exemplary leadership and school climate influence employee engagement and job satisfaction. Therefore, research is needed on these four variables, namely whether exemplary leadership and school climate influence employee engagement and job satisfaction. Data collection was carried out by giving questionnaires to 78 workers. The data was processed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using SmartPls 4. From the research results it can be proven that the variables of exemplary leadership and school climate have a positive and significant influence both independently and simultaneously on employee involvement. Thus, changes in exemplary leadership and school climate will have an impact on employee engagement. The research results show a lack of evidence to support the hypothesis that exemplary leadership has a positive influence on job satisfaction, whereas school climate has a positive influence on job satisfaction. Exemplary leadership has an indirect influence on job satisfaction through school climate or it could be said that exemplary leadership has a positive influence on school climate which will then influence job satisfaction.
