Abstract
In this new normal period, changes in learning situations inspire teachers to design activities with interesting methods. Teachers often find that class conditions are not conducive to students playing and talking to each other, especially when doing activities, some students cannot complete it themselves and cannot play according to the rules agreed before learning begins. The aim of this research is to analyse the application of economic tokens in learning so that it can improve students' disciplinary abilities and independence. The subjects of this research are students in group A aged 4-5 years in SBU kindergarten Jakarta. This research is a type of classroom action research which was carried out in three cycles which had 4 stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection technique uses an assessment rubric to measure students' disciplinary abilities and independence. The results show that students' discipline and independence increased after the implementation of economic tokens. Students achieved development according to expectations and very good development as much as 89.29% in disciplinary abilities and 85.71% of students achieved independence abilities. Based on these achievements, it can be concluded that the application of economic tokens in learning can improve students' disciplinary abilities and independence. / Pada masa new normal ini perubahan situasi pembelajaran menggugah guru untuk mendesain kegiatan dengan metode yang menarik. Sering kali guru menemukan kondisi kelas kurang kondusif siswa bermain dan saling berbicara terlebih saat mengerjakan aktivitas sebagaian siswa belum dapat menyelesaikan sendiri dan belum dapat bermain mengikuti aturan sesuai dengan kesepakatan sebelum pembelajaran dimulai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan token ekonomi dalam pembelajaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan kemandirian siswa. Adapun subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa pada kelompok A usia 4-5 tahun di TK SBU Jakarta. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus yang memiliki 4 tahapan dalam setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan rubrik penilaian untuk mengukur kedisiplinan dan kemandirian siswa. Hasil menunjukkan kedisiplinan dan kemandirian siswa meningkat setelah penerapan token ekonomi siswa yang mencapai berkembang sesuai harapan dan berkembang sangat baik sebanyak 89,29% pada kedisiplinan dan 85,71% siswa mencapai kemandirian. Berdasarkan capain tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan token ekonomi dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan kemandirian siswa.
