Abstract
Orang tua merupakan konsumen dari sekolah dan merupakan pengambil keputusan dalam menyekolahkan anaknya. Agar orang tua tetap memutuskan untuk menyekolahkan anaknya di sekolah XYZ, dan tidak memindahkan anaknya ke sekolah lain, penting bagi pihak sekolah untuk menjaga nilai dari faktor-faktor yang menentukan keputusan orang tua murid tetap tinggi. Beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap keputusan orang tua murid dalam menyekolahkan anaknya adalah Keterlibatan Orang Tua Murid, Kompetensi Guru dalam Mengintegrasikan Teknologi, dan Hasil Belajar Siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh dari ketiga variabel tersebut terhadap Keputusan Orang Tua Murid dalam Menyekolahkan Anaknya di Sekolah XYZ, serta menguji efek mediasi dari variabel hasil belajar siswa. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan orang tua dari 341 murid SD di sekolah XYZ yang beralamatkan di Jakarta Barat, dengan jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 83 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis PLS-SEM. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat pengaruh dari variabel hasil belajar siswa, namun terdapat pengaruh dari variabel keterlibatan orang tua murid dan Kompetensi Guru dalam
Mengintegrasikan Teknologi terhadap Keputusan Orang Tua Murid dalam Menyekolahkan Anaknya, juga tidak terdapat efek mediasi antara variabel keterlibatan orang tua murid dan hasil belajar siswa, dengan Keputusan Orang Tua Murid dalam Menyekolahkan Anaknya. / Parents are considered to be stakeholders of School; therefore they also make decisions regarding their child’s school selection. In order to maintain parents’ decision to enroll their child in the same school, School XYZ needs to keep track on the values of variables that might affect parents’ decision, which includes parents’ involvement, teachers’ technological competence, and student learning outcome. This study aims to understand more on how these variables affect parents’ decision, also to determine whether student learning outcome has a mediating effect between parents’ involvement, teachers’ technological competence and parents’ decision. Population of this study consist of parents of 341 elementary students from School
XYZ, in which 83 participated in this research. This study uses PLS-SEM method for analyzing. Study result shows that there is no positive impact from parents’ involvement and student learning outcome towards parents’ decision, but there is a positive impact coming from teachers’ technological competence towards parents’ decision. Result also shows that student learning outcome has no mediating effect between parents’ involvement, student teachers’ technological competence and parents’ decision.
