Abstract
Problem-solving ability is one of the skills demanded in the 21st century to prepare students to face the era of revolution. Mathematic takes part in the achievement of problem-solving skills. The ability to solve problems can be measured from students’ mastery of concepts which is the result of learning activities to understand objects through observation and experience. This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of Magic Cards educational game media, learning motivation, self-confidence, and the interaction between learning motivation and self-confidence on concept mastery in Mathematics. Data collection was carried out by interviews, written tests, and questionnaires. The sample size of this study is 61 grade II students of SD VLD, East Jakarta. The sampling method used is cluster sampling. This research method is a quasi-experiment with a quantitative approach. This study applied a descriptive statistical analysis using location size and dispersion size and inference analysis using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the use of Magic Cards educational game media had a positive effect on concept mastery. Learning motivation and self-confidence had a positive effect on concept mastery. However, the interaction between learning motivation and self-confidence did not have an influence on concept mastery in mathematics learning for grade II students of SD VLD. / Kemampuan memecahkan masalah merupakan salah satu tuntutan keterampilan di abad ke-21 untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi era revolusi. Pelajaran Matematika turut ambil bagian dalam kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Kemampuan memecahkan masalah dapat diukur dari penguasaan konsep siswa yang merupakan hasil aktivitas belajar memahami obyek melalui pengamatan dan pengalaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media permainan edukasi Magic Cards, motivasi belajar, kepercayaan diri, dan interaksi antara motivasi belajar dan kepercayaan diri terhadap penguasaan konsep pada pembelajaran Matematika. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, tes tertulis, dan mengisi kuesioner. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 61 siswa kelas II SD VLD, Jakarta Timur. Metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster sampling. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dengan menggunakan ukuran lokasi dan ukuran dispersi dan analisis inferensi menggunakan Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media permainan edukasi Magic Cards berpengaruh positif terhadap penguasaan konsep. Motivasi belajar dan kepercayaan diri berpengaruh positif terhadap penguasaan konsep. Namun, interaksi antara motivasi belajar dan kepercayaan diri tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap penguasaan konsep pada pembelajaran Matematika siswa kelas II SD VLD, Jakarta Timur.
