Abstract

Barang collectible atau luxury memiliki peminatnya tersendiri dan jumlahnya tidak sedikit, serta diprediksi akan semakin berkembang. Pandemi dan kemajuan teknologi mendorong konsumen yang semula berbelanja offline menjadi online. Akan tetapi, platform online memiliki berbagai kekurangan yang membuat orang-orang enggan berbelanja terutama barang collectible atau luxury karena resiko tertipu lebih tinggi. Meski begitu, platform online masih seringkali digunakan karena barang-barang collectible atau luxury cenderung dijual dengan kuantitas yang sangat terbatas dan sangat tidak sebanding dengan peminatnya, sehingga tidak ada pilihan lain selain mencari barang tersebut melalui platform online. Masalah utama yang dialami pengguna platform online adalah reputasi penjual dan keaslian produk, sehingga diadakan perancangan produk digital dengan design for trust yang bertujuan meminimalisir masalah tersebut. Dalam perancangan, konsep media sosial diaplikasikan untuk mendukung tujuan perancangan. Metode perancangan yang digunakan meliputi data primer seperti kuesioner, quality function deployment, card sorting, customer journey map, perbandingan dengan kompetitor, dan data sekunder dari berbagai jurnal dan artikel terkait. / Collectible or luxury items have their own enthusiasts, and their numbers are not small, with further growth predicted. The pandemic and technological advancements have pushed consumers who previously shopped offline to move online. However, online platforms have various shortcomings that make people reluctant to shop, especially for collectible or luxury items, due to the higher risk of being deceived. Nevertheless, online platforms are still often used because collectible or luxury items are typically sold in very limited quantities, which do not match their demand, leaving online platforms as the only option to find such items. The main issue experienced by users of online platforms is the reputation of sellers and the authenticity of products. Therefore, a digital product design with a focus on trust is conducted to minimize these problems. In the design process, the concept of social media is applied to support the design goal. The design methods used include primary data such as questionnaires, quality function deployment, card sorting, customer journey maps, competitor comparisons, and secondary data from various journals and related articles.
