Abstract

Pendidikan seksualitas dan pengetahuan akan pubertas di Indonesia sangatlah terbatas dan dianggap tabu bagi masyarakat (Nurfadhilah et al., 2023). Masyarakat masih banyak yang menganggap bahwa edukasi seksualitas lebih banyak membawa pengaruh negatif dibanding positif oleh karena memiliki pandangan yang keliru terhadap pendidikan seksual. Saat ini, pemerintah juga belum menerapkan edukasi seksualitas yang komprehensif di kurikulum pendidikan Indonesia. Padahal, pendidikan seksualitas yang efektif dan terpercaya dapat membantu memerangi isu-isu kejahatan seksual. Ini didukung oleh penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh Amalia et al., (2018) di Indonesia, yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pemberian pendidikan seksualitas terhadap kejadian kekerasan seksual pada anak sekolah dasar. Ini karena pendidikan seksualitas akan mengajarkan anak-anak untuk menjaga diri dan mengetahui tentang apa yang boleh dan tidak dilakukan terhadap dirinya. Perancangan ini akan menghasilkan produk digital berupa desain antarmuka aplikasi pembelajaran gamifikasi dengan topik pubertas. Perancangan produk dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara dan kuesioner kepada anak, remaja, orang tua, dan ahli seperti dokter dan guru. Diharapkan dengan adanya produk perancangan ini, anak-anak akan lebih termotivasi untuk belajar tentang pubertas dan pendidikan seksualitas serta memerangi rasa tabu yang dirasakan untuk membicarakannya. / Sexuality education and knowledge of puberty in Indonesia are considered taboo in society (Nurfadhilah et al., 2023). Many people still think that sexuality education has more negative influences than positive ones because they have a wrong view of sexual education. Currently, the government has not implemented comprehensive sexuality education in the Indonesian education curriculum. In fact, effective and reliable sexuality education can help combat sexual crime issues. This is supported by research conducted by Amalia et al., (2018) in Indonesia, namely there is a significant influence on the provision of sexuality education on the incidence of sexual violence in elementary school children. This is because sexuality education will teach children to take care of themselves and know about what is and is not allowed done to them. This design will produce a digital product in the form of a gamification learning application interface design on the topic of puberty. Product design is carried out by conducting interviews and questionnaires with children, teenagers, parents and experts including doctors and teachers. It is hoped that with this product design, children will be more motivated to learn about puberty and sexuality education and combat the taboo felt about talking about it.
