Abstract

Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia mengatakan bahwa Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan tingkat polusi udara yang paling besar. Dampak dari polusi udara di Indonesia sangat berbahaya kepada kesehatan tubuh. Polusi udara tersebut dapat mengakibatkan berbagai macam penyakit yang dapat berakhir fatal. Tidak hanya itu, pada zaman sekarang, banyak orang menganggap remeh dengan dampak-dampak yang dapat diakibatkan oleh polusi udara. Polusi udara pada masa sekarang juga tidak hanya terdapat diluar ruangan, tetapi juga terdapat dalam ruangan. Polusi udara yang terdapat dalam ruangan mempunyai bahaya yang sama dengan polusi diluar ruangan. Sudah ada beberapa solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk menurunkan jumlah polusi yang berada disekitar kehidupan kita. Beberapa solusi tersebut adalah dengan mengurangi kendaraan bermotor, menggunakan masker, menanam pohon dan juga menggunakan air purifier. Solusi-solusi tersebut mempunyai kelebihan dan kekurangannya masing-masing. Sehingga penulis memilih solusi paling cocok dengan lingkungan yaitu apartemen. Perancangan produk ini melibatkan observasi, wawancara dan juga riset. Selanjutnya, penulis mencari tau apa saja kesulitan untuk memelihara tanaman di apartemen. Hasil dari observasi, wawancara dan juga riset digunakan untuk membantu merancang dan mendesain produk tersebut. / The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia says that Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest levels of air pollution. The impact of air pollution in Indonesia is very dangerous to the health of the body. Air pollution can cause a variety of diseases that can end fatally. Not only that, nowadays, many people underestimate the impacts that can be caused by air pollution. Air pollution today is not only found outdoors, but also indoors. Indoor air pollution has the same dangers as outdoor pollution. There are already some solutions that can be done to reduce the amount of pollution around our lives. Some of these solutions are reducing motorized vehicles, using masks, planting trees and also using air purifiers. These solutions have their own advantages and disadvantages. So the author chose the most suitable solution for the environment, namely apartments. This product design involves observation, interviews and research. Furthermore, the author finds out what are the difficulties in maintaining plants in apartments. The results of observations, interviews and research were used to help design and design the product.
