Abstract

Padepokan Sekar Djagad adalah sanggar tari yang berada di Desa Madurejo, Sleman. Tempat ini terbuka bagi individu yang ingin mendalami seni dari sendratari, seni pertunjukan tradisional, alat music dan seni dari keseluruhannya. Bangunan sudah berumur dan memberi peluang bagi penggunaan Kembali terhadap bangunan. Penggunaan Kembali sebuah bangunan telah menjadi praktik professional yang menggabungkan keahlian dari berbagai bidang seperti arsitektur, desain interior, desain lanskap dan sebagainya. Adaptasi itu sendiri bisa diurai lebih dengan detail dengan berbagai cara preservasi seperti adaptive reuse. Joglo Siraman di Gunungkidul akan menjadi obyek yang peneliti coba untuk penerapan adaptive reuse dengan relokasinya ke Sekar Jagat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memiliki upaya untuk mencari tahu seperti apa Padepokan Sekar Djagad akan beradaptasi dengan menerapkan ‘Adaptive reuse’ di era kontemporer ini. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menelusuri strategi adaptive reuse yang sesuai pada bangunan Padepokan Sekar Djagad. Penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai Adaptive reuse beserta strategi yang bisa diterapkan pada bangunan Padepokan Sekar Djagad sehingga bisa menghadapi era modern. Penelitian ini melibatkan berbagai metode seperti studi literatur, komparasi studi kasus proyek Adaptive reuse terhadap bangunan yang efektif di era kontemporer. Dengan menelusuri cara sebuah bangunan lama beradaptasi pada zaman sekarang diharapkan mampu membantu proses perancangan desain arsitektur padepokan yang menyikapi modernisasi. / Padepokan Sekar Djagad is a dance studio located in Madurejo Village, Sleman. This place is open to individuals who wish to delve into the arts of dance drama, traditional performing arts, musical instruments, and the arts. The building is old and offers opportunities for reuse. Reusing of a building has become a professional practice that combines expertise from various fields such as architecture, interior design, landscape design and planning. The adaptation itself can be further detailed through various preservation methods such as Adaptive Reuse. Joglo Siraman in Gunungkidul will be the object that researcher try to apply adaptive reuse to, with its relocation to Padepokan Sekar Djagad. Therefore, this research aims to find out how Padepokan Sekar Djagad will adapt by applying Adaptive Reuse in this contemporary era. The main focus on this research is to explore appropriate Adaptive Reuse strategies for the Padepokan Sekar Djagad building. This research will discuss Adaptive Reuse along with strategies that can be applied to the Padepokan Sekar Djagad building to face the modern era. This research involves various methods such as literature studies, comparative case studies of effective Adaptive Reuse projects in the contemporary era. By exploring how an old building adapts to the present day, it is hoped that it can help the design process of the Padepokan architecture in addressing modernization.
