Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari strategi rancangan yang dapat meraih sinergi dari sebuah Joglo yang direlokasi dari sebuah tempat bernama Siraman, Gunung Kidul untuk kemudian menajdi bagian dari fasilitas Komunitas Tari. Sekar Djagad. Mengetahui bahwa Joglo Siraman yang direlokasi ini memilki karifan lokal signifikan, maka akan sangat bermanfaat apabila narasi konteks dibalik lahirnya gubahan bentuk arsitektur joglo ini dapat tersampaikan kepada penggunanya kelak di mana joglo ini akan direlokasi. Teori Place Making digunakan menjadi sebuah teori yang dapat memandu menghadirkan sinergi antara komunitas Padepokan Sekar Djagad, Joglo relokasi dan tempat di mana padepokan ini dikembangkan dalam sebuah fasilitas komunitas sendra tari sekaj djagad. Proyek ini menggunakan pendekatan holistik dengan mengintegrasikan prinsip placemaking ke dalam proses desain. Melalui analisis rinci terhadap elemen-elemen yang berkontribusi pada sense of place dan konteks site. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur sense of place pada Joglo Siraman dan Sekar Djagad, serta mengintegrasi elemen-elemen tersebut dan mengadaptasi dan mengadopsi bentuk Arsitktur Joglo secara parsial ke dalam gubahan arsitektur yang baru serta. Hal ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah lingkungan yang menyatu dengan budaya lokal dan mampu menciptakan keterlibatan aktif dari masyarakat sekitar. Kolaborasi dengan komunitas Sekar Djagad menjadi inti dari upaya ini, dengan tujuan untuk membudayakan sense of place yang kuat di mana adaptasi Joglo ini menjadi pusat kegiatan komunitas, serta menciptakan preservasi berkelanjutan yang dilakukan secara bersama-sama. Melalui penggabungan konsep placemaking, kompleks komunitas Studio Tari Sekar Djagad diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah yang tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan praktis komunitas tari, tetapi juga memperkuat ikatan budaya dan memelihara identitas lokal. / This research aims to identify design strategies that can achieve synergy from a Joglo, relocated from a place called Siraman, Gunung Kidul, to become part of the Sekar Djagad Dance Community facility. Recognizing that the relocated Siraman Joglo holds significant local wisdom, it will be highly beneficial if the narrative context behind the creation of this Joglo's architectural form can be conveyed to its future users at the new location. The theory of Place Making is utilized as a guiding framework to create synergy between the Sekar Djagad community, the relocated Joglo, and the location where this community center is being developed into a dance community facility. The project employs a holistic approach by integrating placemaking principles into the design process. Through detailed analysis of the elements contributing to the sense of place and the site context, this research identifies the sense of place elements present in both Joglo Siraman and Sekar Djagad. It integrates these elements and partially adapts and adopts the Joglo architectural form into a new architectural composition. This aims to create an environment that harmonizes with local culture and fosters active community engagement. Collaboration with the Sekar Djagad community is central to this effort, with the goal of cultivating a strong sense of place where the adapted Joglo becomes the hub of community activities, and ensuring sustainable preservation through collective efforts. By incorporating the concept of placemaking, the Sekar Djagad Dance Studio complex is expected to not only meet the practical needs of the dance community but also strengthen cultural ties and maintain local identity.
