Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan strategi Theoryncraft dalam mendesain hingga menghasilkan desain yang kreatif. Strategi mendesain ini meliputi proses desain yang menggunakan teori berpikir kreatif desainer interior untuk menciptakan konsep desain. Penulis memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang digunakan oleh desainer interior Theoryncraft dalam mendesain. Ini melibatkan bentuk strategi yang digunakan oleh Theoryncraft untuk mengambil keputusan terkait dengan elemen-elemen desain yang dapat menciptakan konsep desain dan fungsional yang unik. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung kreativitas desainer interior, dengan harapan dapat membuka wacana cara mendesain yang baru. Lingkup penelitian ini adalah desain interior dari satu proyek residential, yaitu Lyndon Navapark. Strategi kreatif Theoryncraft mengutamakan proses kreatif intuitif dan proses berpikir kreatif kritis. Hasil dari proses kreatif ini akan mendukung dan menjadi bekal desainer saat melakukan proses desain. Proses fisik, proses kognitif dan proses desain akan terus berkorelasi satu dengan lainnya ketika desainer Theoryncraft merancang suatu desain. Untuk menemukan strategi desain Theoryncraft, penulis menjabarkan langkah-langkah yang dilakukan mulai dari awal perancangan hingga pengaplikasian desain di Theoryncraft, lalu dianalisis menggunakan teori berpikir kreatif (The Art of Thought Graham Wallas). Kesimpulan dan hasil analisis penelitian ini memperlihatkan komponen kreativitas (Amabile, 2011) yang paling berpengaruh dalam proses desain dan pengembangan strategi yang dapat dilakukan oleh Theoryncraft kedepannya. / This research explains Theoryncraft's strategy in designing to produce a creative design. This design strategy encompasses the design process that uses the creative thinking theory of interior designers to create design concepts. The author has the aim of analyzing the strategies used by the interior designer Theoryncraft in designing. It involves the form of strategy used by Theorynncraft to make decisions related to the design elements that can create unique design and functional concept. This research will identify the factors that support the creativity of interior designers. With this research, it is expected to open up a discourse about how to design a new one. The scope of this research is the interior design of a residential project, namely Lyndon Navapark. Theoryncraft's creative strategy prioritizes intuitive creative processes and critical creative thinking processes. The result of this creative process will support and be the supplier of the designer during the design process. Physical processes, cognitive processes and design processes will continue to correlate with each other when Theoryncraft designers design a design. To find out the design strategy of the Theoryncraft, the author will outline the steps taken from the beginning of the design to the application of design in the theorycraft. Basically, design is a process that includes tools to process (information), problems to be processed (problem), and perpetrators/designers. (desainer). The quality of a design is measured not only by the originality and creativity in presenting the design, but also by the design reasons, analysing, and solving problems that arise, but to make the best decision to optimal results requires a certain mindset in its implementation.
