Abstract

Daun Kelor (Moringa oleifera L.) dan Kulit Buah Manggis (Moringa oleifera L.) mengandung senyawa antioksidan berupa flavonoid dan fenolik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan dari kombinasi ekstrak etanol 96% Daun Kelor (Moringa oleifera L.) dan Kulit Buah Manggis (Moringa oleifera L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode maserasi untuk memperoleh hasil ekstrak dan menggunakan metode DPPH untuk menguji aktivitas antioksidan diukur menggunakan spektrofotometer Uv-Vis. Nilai IC50 ekstrak tunggal daun kelor dan kulit buah manggis masing-masing sebesar 55,64 ppm dan 3,56 ppm. Sedangkan pada hasil kombinasi nilai IC50 daun kelor dan kulit manggis pada konsentrasi 8 ppm sebesar 6,01 ppm yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat kuat, daun kelor memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang baik jika di kombinasikan dengan kulit buah manggis, sedangkan kulit buah manggis lebih baik digunakan secara tunggal karena memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang tinggi dari pada di kombinasikan. Aktivitas ini dipengaruhi oleh efek sinergis antara kombinasi metabolit sekunder yang terkandung/Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera L.) and mangosteen peel (Moringa oleifera L.) contain antioxidant compounds in the form of flavonoids and phenolics. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of a combination of 96% ethanol extract of Moringa Leaves (Moringa oleifera L.) and Mangosteen Peel (Moringa oleifera L.). This research uses the maceration method to obtain extract results and uses the DPPH method to test antioxidant activity measured using a Uv-Vis spectrophotometer. The IC50 values of the single extract of Moringa leaves and mangosteen rind were 55.64 ppm and 3.56 ppm respectively. Meanwhile, the results of the combination of the IC50 value of Moringa leaves and mangosteen peel at a concentration of 8 ppm were 6.01 ppm, which is included in the very strong category. Moringa leaves have good antioxidant activity when combined with mangosteen peel, while mangosteen peel is better used alone. because it has higher antioxidant activity than the combination. This activity is influenced by the synergistic effect between the combination of secondary metabolites contained.
