This final year project discusses the development of a system that can help the processes of planning and assembling traditional clothing at Butik Kebaya Woro Indah. Butik Kebaya Woro Indah is a company that sows Indonesian traditional dresses for women. The traditional dresses focus on Kebaya Encim, Kerah Shanghai, Modern, and Off-shoulder. This system is built to overcome the limitations of the current system. At this moment, the budget estimation, completion progress report and payments are still done manually. The progress is not recorded, therefore the changes are difficult to track. These problems are causing human errors and delays in production. The development phases includes analysis of the current system, requirements gathering, design, and construction. The methodology used to develop the proposed application is Rapid Application Development (RAD) with evolutionary prototyping method. The proposed application is built using Microsoft Visual Basic.NET 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server. The application development project is modeled with diagrams of UML version 2.0. Application testing is permenued using black-box testing with scenario and functional testing approaches. The proposed system facilitates users in managing stock by recording the materials that had been used and the amount left in the stockroom. It also provides an overview of business transactions and the dress production progress. This system will also be able to record to employee and customer data.
