Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi menyebabkan munculnya media sosial yang digunakan sebagai salah satu saluran pemasaran. Salah satu perusahaan yang menggunakan media sosial secara aktif adalah Ramayana. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara langsung dari social media advertising content dan sales promotion content terhadap behavioral intention, maupun yang tidak langsung melalui mediasi dari brand image (hedonic dan functional). Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 155 responden dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, sedangkan teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah PLS-SEM. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa social media marketing dan sales promotion content memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap behavioral intention dan brand image, kemudian brand image (hedonic dan functional) juga ditemukan berpengaruh secara signifikan dan positif terhadap behavioral intention, dan brand image juga memediasi pengaruh dari social media marketing dan sales promotion content terhadap behavioral intention. Kesimpulannya media sosial memiliki peran yang penting bagi Ramayana, terutama d alam membangun brand image dan behavioral intention yang positif. Oleh karena itu Ramayana harus menjadikan media sosial sebagai salah satu fokus utama dalam strategi pemasaran mereka.
