Abstract

Salah satu pekerjaan konstruksi untuk mendukung pembangunan infrastruktur di Indonesia adalah pekerjaan jalan. Di Indonesia, terdapat banyak klasifikasi jalan, diantaranya yaitu jalan nasional, jalan provinsi, jalan kota, dan lain-lain. Dalam konstruksi perkerasan jalan, dibutuhkan hasil uji laboratorium untuk mendapatkan kualitas aspal yang digunakan. Finite element method adalah metodologi komputasi yang memiliki efek paling mendalam dalam memecahkan berbagai masalah dalam sains dan teknologi. Salah satu masalah yang ada adalah mencari stress dan strain dengan menggunakan uji SCB dan metode elemen hingga. Untuk mendapatkan nilai Stress dan Strain dengan metode elemen hingga dibutuhkan perameter berupa jenis material, gravitasi, tekanan, dan Batasan (Boundary Condition). Pada penelitian ini sampel dengan panjang 150 mm dan tinggi 50 mm dengan notch 15 mm akan disimulasikan dengan memberikan tekanan gravitasi dan loading menggunakan aplikasi Abaqus dengan hasil CT scan dan aplikasi Python sebagai pendukung aplikasi Abaqus. Model untuk sampel murni dan sampel dengan modifikasi polymer akan dibuat menjadi 2 layer dan 5 layer. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai Stress dan Strain hasil metode FEM dan hasil uji laboratorium memiliki perbandingan yang sangat jauh, dan penggunaan layer dalam pembuatan model untuk pengujian FEM belum bisa dikatakan dapat membuat hasil lebih akurat sehingga dibutuhkan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai hal ini./One of the constructions works to support infrastucture in Indonesia is road works. In Indonesia, there are many roads classification including national roads, provincial roads, city roads, and others. In pavement road construction, laboratory test results are needed to obtain the quality of the asphalt used. The Finite Element Method is a method that has the most profound effect on solving various problems in science and technology. One of the existing problems is to find the value of stress and strain by using the SCB test and the finite element method. To get the value of sress and strain using the finite element method parameters are needed in the form of material type, gravity, loading, and Boundary Conditions. In this study, sampel with a length of 150 mm and a height of 50 mm with notch depth of 15 mm will be simulated by applying gravity and loading using abaqus application based on CT scan results. Models for pure mix sample and polymer modified sample will be made into 2 layers and 5 layers. Based on the test result, it can be concluded that the stress and strain values from the FEM method and the laboratory test results have a little comparison, and the use of layers in making models for FEM testing cannot be said to make results more acurate, so further testing is needed
