Abstract
Murid merupakan ciptaan Allah yang mempunyai karakter Kristus dan memperoleh kasih karunia untuk memahami seluruh ciptaanNya melalui pembelajaran di sekolah. Proses pembelajaran yang terjadi di kelas XB sangat beragama, setiap murid memiliki sifat dan gaya belajar masing-masing. Keunikan yang beragam menyadarkan saya bahwa sebagai guru hal terpenting adalah memenuhi kebutuhan murid dan menjadi guru yang aktif dalam melayani serta memahami kebutuhan siswa. Permasalah yang muncul di kelas XB yaitu kurangnya minat terhadap pembelajaran IPA dan tidak ada daya juang untuk belajar, karena mindset siswa memandang IPA (biologi) itu rumit, membosankan dan banyak hafalan. Guna memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut guru perlu mendesain pembelajaran yang menarik menggunakan strategi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Strategi Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Hal ini terbukti melalui strategi tersebut hasil belajar siswa rata–rata kelas XB sebesar 83,4. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis penerapan Problem Based Learning Kelas XB dalam pembelajaran biologi dengan topik perubahan lingkungan. Sebagai umat yang telah ditebus oleh-Nya sebagai orang percaya memiliki kemampuan untuk melaksanakan mandat Allah yaitu “mengelola bumi dengan baik”. Saran dengan menggunakan strategi PBL dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu referensi untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. /Students are God's creation who have the character of Christ and receive the grace to understand all of His creation through learning at school. The learning process that occurs in class XB is very religious, each student has their own characteristics and learning styles. The diverse uniqueness makes me realize that as a teacher, the most important thing is to meet the needs of students and be an active teacher in serving and understanding the needs of students. The problem that arises in class XB is the lack of interest in science learning and no fighting power to learn, because the students' mindset views science (biology) as complicated, boring and a lot of memorization. To meet these needs, teachers need to design interesting learning using strategies that suit the needs of students. The Problem Based Learning strategy can increase student learning activeness. This is proven through this strategy the average student learning outcomes of class XB is 83.4. The purpose of this study is to analyze thoue application of Problem Based Learning Class XB in learning biology with the topic of environmental change. As people who have been redeemed by Him as believers have the ability to carry out God's mandate to “manage the earth well”. Suggestions by using PBL strategies can be used as one of the references to create active learning, increase student motivation and learning outcomes.
