Abstract

Latar Belakang: Perawatan kulit yang tepat dapat membantu mengatasi akne vulgaris terutama dengan sabun khusus anti akne, mengingat tingginya prevalensi akne di kalangan remaja dan dewasa muda serta kebutuhan akan solusi perawatan kulit yang efektif / Background: Washing face can help manage acne vulgaris, especially with anti-acne soaps, given the high prevalence of acne among teens and young adults and the need for effective skincare solutions. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui hubungan antara penggunaan sabun anti akne dengan angka kejadian akne vulgaris pada mahasiswa/i preklinik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan / Objective: To know the relationship between the use of anti-acne soap with incidence of acne vulgaris in pre-clinical students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pelita Harapan. Hipotesis: Terdapat hubungan antara penggunaan sabun anti akne dengan angka kejadian akne vulgaris pada mahasiswa/i preklinik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan / Hypothesis: There is a relationship between the use of anti-acne soap with incidence of acne vulgaris in pre-clinical students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pelita Harapan. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional terhadap 56 mahasiswa/i preklinik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian dengan teknik non-probability sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner Global Acne Grading System (GAGS) dan kuesioner kriteria responden terkait variabel independen penelitian dan faktor perancu / Method: This research used a cross-sectional study design conducted on 56 pre-clinical students of the Faculty of Medicine, Pelita Harapan University who meet the research criteria with non-probability sampling technique. The research used the Global Acne Grading System (GAGS) questionnaire and a respondent criteria questionnaire related to the research independent variables and confounding factors. Hasil: Hasil uji bivariat dengan Chi-Square menunjukkan analisis hubungan antara penggunaan sabun anti akne dengan angka kejadian akne vulgaris yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai p-value sebesar 0,039 dan OR 4,565 (95% CI = 1,079-19,322) / Results: Chi-Square bivariate test showed an analysis of the relationship between the use of anti-acne soap and the incidence of acne vulgaris as indicated by a p-value of 0.039 and OR 4.565 (95% CI = 1.079-19.322). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara penggunaan sabun anti akne dengan angka kejadian akne vulgaris pada mahasiswa/i preklinik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan / Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the use of anti-acne soap and the incidence of acne vulgaris in preclinical students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pelita Harapan.
