Violence is an action that causes pain to someone. However, violence within the household scope has specific regulations regulated in Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence because domestic violence is a case that occurs in the household environment and occurs in personal relationships in a household such as the husband, wife, parents and children, or children with parents or household assistants who live permanently. The majority of victims of domestic violence are usually wives, but husbands can be victims of domestic violence, as is the case in Bulukumba District Court Decision Number 199/Pid.Sus/2021/PN Blk and Tanjung Karang District Court Decision Number 450/Pid.Sus/2023/PN TJK. This research uses normative legal research with a statute approach and a victimology approach. The data collection method used in the research uses literature obtained from laws and regulations, books, journals, and research results. In the research results, there were 2 cases described based on the Bulukumba District Court Decision Number 199/Pid.Sus/2021/PN Blk and the Tanjung Karang District Court Decision Number 450/Pid.Sus/2023/PN TJK. These two decisions provide evidence that there were cases of domestic violence committed by the wife against her husband, so that the husband became the victim. Apart from that, these two decisions provide evidence that there is legal protection given to husbands as victims of domestic violence perpetrated by their wives, however in these two decisions they have not been able to protect victims in terms of physical and psychological health, and from an economic perspective they should because they only provide protection through legal services through Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence, so that legal protection for husbands as victims of domestic violence committed by wives is legal protection by providing criminal sanctions in the form of imprisonment.
