Abstract
The digital era has brought significant changes to teenagers' lives, including how they understand their identity. Christian education has an important role in guiding and accompanying teenagers to understand their identity based on Christian values amidst the challenges and strong influence of social media. Therefore, this research aims to examine the challenges of Christian education in helping Christian teenagers face the identity crisis in the digital era, with a case study at the Menara Tirza Gading Serpong Christian Middle School. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods using a single case study approach. The subjects of this research were determined using the purposive sampling method. The required data was collected through an interview process, questionnaires and documentation studies. The validity of the data is carried out by the source triangulation process. Data analysis was carried out using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show the impact of the identity crisis experienced by teenagers, including the impact on students' self-understanding, social life and academic achievement. A disciplined and consistent collaboration between family, school and church can help students face an identity crisis in the digital era. / Era digital membawa perubahan signifikan dalam kehidupan remaja, termasuk bagaimana mereka memahami identitas diri. Pendidikan Kristen memiliki peran penting dalam membimbing dan mendampingi remaja untuk memahami identitas mereka berdasarkan nilai-nilai Kristen di tengah tantangan dan pengaruh kuat media sosial. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tantangan pendidikan Kristen dalam membantu para remaja Kristen menghadapi Krisis identitas diri di era digital, dengan studi kasus di SMP Kristen Menara Tirza Gading Serpong. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus tunggal. Subjek penelitian ini ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data yang dibutuhkan dikumpulkan melalui proses wawancara, kuesioner dan studi dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan proses trangulasi sumber. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya dampak krisis identitas diri yang dialami remaja, meliputi dampak pada pemahaman diri, kehidupan sosial dan prestasi akademik siswa. Jalinan kerjasama yang terikat secara disiplin dan konsisten dari pihak keluarga, sekolah maupun gereja dapat membantu siswa menghadapi krisis identitas di era digital.
