Abstract
Latar Belakang: Kejadian nyeri punggung bawah dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya durasi berkendara dan usia. Waktu kerja bagi pengemudi kendaraan umum adalah 8 jam sehari sedangkan rata-rata sopir bekerja adalah sekitar 8-12 jam sehari, dan serta faktor risiko pekerjaan terhadap angka kejadian nyeri punggung bawah lebih difokuskan kepada pekerjaan yang mengharuskan untuk mempertahankan posisi duduk dalam waktu yang lama yaitu lebih dari 5 jam per hari. Prevalensi nyeri punggung bawah meningkat seiring bertambahnya usia, pada klasifikasi kelompok usia dewasa dimulai dari usia 25-64 tahun adalah 15,2% meningkat menjadi 25,1% pada kelompok lansia yang berusia 65 tahun ke atas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan identifikasi terkait hubungan durasi berkendara dan usia untuk mencegah kejadian nyeri punggung bawah pada pengemudi taksi X.
Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui hubungan antara durasi berkendara dan usia dengan kejadian nyeri punggung bawah pada pengemudi taksi X.
Metode: Penelitian cross sectional ini menggunakan metode analisis komparatif kategorik tidak berpasangan pada pengemudi taksi X yang berada di Jakarta Selatan, khususnya Melawai yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada sejak Februari-Maret 2024. Responden akan diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner meliputi data demografi dan kuesioner Modified Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability. Data akan diolah menggunakan uji statistik SPSS dengan metode Chi-square.
Hasil: Diantara 69 data primer yang diolah datanya, didapatkan bahwa diantaranya merupakan laki-laki (98,6%), berada pada rentang usia 44-54 tahun (39,1%), durasi berkendara lebih dari 8 jam per hari (88,4%), bekerja kurang dari 1 tahun (33,3%) yang sedang mengalami NPB (81,2%) dengan skor Modified Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability menunjukkan disabilitas sedang (68,1%). Diperoleh juga nilai p untuk hubungan durasi berkendara terhadap kejadian NPB (p<0,05), sedangkan usia (p>0,05).
Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menemukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara faktor durasi berkendara dengan kejadian nyeri punggung bawah. Sedangkan, untuk faktor usia didapatkan tidak signifikan dikarenakan responden masih dalam usia produktif.

Background: The occurrence of low back pain can be influenced by several factors, one of which is driving duration and age. The working hours for public transportation drivers are 8 hours per day, while the average driver works around 8-12 hours per day. The occupational risk for low back pain incidence are more focused on jobs that require maintaining a seated position for a long period, specifically more than 5 hours per day. The prevalence of low back pain increases with age; in the adult age group classified as 25-64 years old, it is 15.2%, rising to 25.1% in the elderly group aged 65 years and older. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the relationship between driving duration and age to present low back pain incidents among taxi drivers.
Objective: Understanding the relationship between driving duration and age with the occurrence of low back pain among taxi drivers.
Method: This cross-sectional study employs an unpaired categorical comparative analysis method on taxi drivers in South Jakarta, particularly in Melawai, who meet the research criteria. Data collection took place from February to March 2024. Respondents will be asked to complete a questionnaire covering demographic information and the Modified Oswestry Low Back Disability questionnaire. The data will be analysed using SPSS statistical tests with the Chi-square method.
Result: Among the 69 data being processed primary, it was found that the majority were male (98.6%), aged between 44-54 years (39.1%), drove for more than 8 hours per day (88.4%), had worked for less than 1-year (33.3%), and were experiencing non-specific low back pain (81.2%) with a Modified Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability score indicating moderate disability (68.1%). A statistically significant relationship was also observed between driving duration and the occurrence of non-specific low back pain (p < 0.05), whereas age showed the no significant relationship (p > 0.05).
Conclusion: This study found a significant relationship between driving duration factors, whereas for age factors, it was found to be not significant since the respondents are still in their prime working years.
