Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya perusahaan dalam mempertahankan karyawan kompeten di industri tekstil. Latar belakang penelitian menunjukkan bahwa industri tekstil di Indonesia memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap perekonomian negara, namun dihadapkan pada tantangan dalam mempertahankan tenaga kerja yang kompeten. Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan PT XYZ, salah satu perusahaan manufaktur tekstil di Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik analisa SEM-PLS. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh compensation, perceived supervisor support, dan career development terhadap intention to stay yang dimediasi oleh job satisfaction. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya bagi organisasi untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, membangun hubungan yang baik antara karyawan dan atasan, serta kesesuaian antara beban kerja dengan kompensasi yang diterima. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi manajerial bagi perusahaan tekstil dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia untuk menjaga keberlangsungan dan daya saing bisnis. / The purpose of this is to examine the company's efforts in retaining competent employees in the textile industry. The research background shows that the textile industry in Indonesia has a significant contribution to the country's economy, but faces challenges in retaining a competent workforce. The research was conducted at PT XYZ, one of the textile manufacturing companies in Tangerang. The method used is quantitative with SEM-PLS analysis techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees. This study aims to examine the effect of compensation, perceived supervisor support, and career development on intention to stay, which is mediated by job satisfaction. This study emphasizes the importance for organizations to create a conducive work environment, build good relationships between employees and supervisors, and ensure the appropriateness between workload and compensation received. These findings provide managerial implications for textile companies in managing human resources to maintain business sustainability and competitiveness.
