Kebijakan pembayaran dividen yang diputuskan oleh perusahaan merupakan hal yang penting bagi citra perusahaan dalam kinerjanya mengelola perusahaan. Namun demikian, keputusan untuk melakukan pembayaran dividen ditentukan oleh pengambil keputusan dalam perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh dari Good Corporate Governance dan leverage terhadap kebijakan dividen perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif pada perusahaan yang terdaftar Bursa Efek Indonesia dan terindeks pada LQ45. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Good Corporate Governance memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen secara parsial dimana hanya dewan komisaris, komite audit dan kepemilikan keluarga yang mampu menurunkan tingkat dividen yang dibayarkan perusahaan kepada para investor. Sedangkan dewan direksi, komisaris independen, kepemilikan manajerial dan kepemilikan institusi tidak mempengaruhi kebijakan dividen secara signifikan. Sedangkan leverage tidak berhasil mempengaruhi kebijakan dividen. / The dividend payment policy decided by the company is important for the company's image on its performance in managing the company. However, the decision to make dividend payments is determined by decision makers within the company. This research aims to examine the influence of Good Corporate Governance and leverage on company dividend policy. This research was conducted quantitatively at companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and indexed on LQ45. The research results show that Good Corporate Governance has a significant influence on dividend policy partially where only the board of commissioners, audit committee and family ownership are able to reduce the level of dividends paid by the company to investors. Meanwhile, the board of directors, independent commissioners, managerial ownership and institutional ownership do not significantly influence dividend policy. Meanwhile, leverage failed to influence dividend policy.
