Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly affected children and families, leading to the widespread adoption of online or remote learning. However, fully online education may not meet the needs of all students. As a result, alternative methods such as hybrid or blended learning have emerged. Hybrid learning combines in-person face-to-face instruction for some students with online sessions for others during each class meeting. To understand student perceptions of hybrid learning and its effectiveness, a research study was conducted. The study explored student perceptions of hybrid learning and examined the relationship between student attendance in live synchronous sessions and educational effectiveness. Data collection involved distributing questionnaires to 52 student respondents from a private junior high school in North Jakarta. The collected data were then tested for validity and reliability and analyzed using statistical methods. The findings revealed a significant correlation between student perceptions and educational effectiveness in the context of hybrid learning. /
Dampak Covid-19 terhadap anak dan keluarga sangat terasa yaitu dengan penerapan pembelajaran online atau daring. Namun penerapan pembelajaran secara online penuh tidak bisa mengakomodasi kebutuhan semua siswa akan pendidikan, sehingga dibutuhkan alternatif metode pembelajaran yang lain, yaitu metode hybrid atau blended learning, yaitu metode pembelajaran yang menggabungkan antara tatap muka langsung untuk sebagian siswa dan tatap muka online untuk sebagian lain dalam setiap pertemuan. Untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap metode pembelajaran hybrid serta efektifitas pendidikan dengan metode hybrid ini, maka diperlukan penelian mengenai persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran hybrid serta bagaimana hubungan antara kehadiran siswa dalam sesi live synchronous dengan efektifitas pendidikan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survey dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 52 responden siswa sebuah SMP swasta di Jakarta Utara. Setelah itu data diuji validitas dan reabilitasnya dan kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan analisis validitas dan reabilitas. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ada hubungan antara persepsi siswa dengan efektivitas pendidikan.
