Abstract
Work discipline is a fundamental aspect of educational services, including
adhering to and respecting both written and unwritten regulations to enhance
work effectiveness. Teachers require guidance or supervision from the school
principal in the teaching process. Through principal supervision, teachers are
expected to be motivated to become more professional and to develop their
abilities, thus becoming more innovative. This study employs a quantitative
method with path analysis to determine the influence of work discipline, school
principal supervision, and innovative behavior on teacher performance. The
research subjects were 57 teachers at XYZ School in North Jakarta. The results
show a positive influence of work discipline, school principal supervision, and
innovative behavior on teacher performance.Innovative behavior has a greater
impact on teacher performance in schools. This is because teachers utilize
applications or online platforms to support the learning process and apply
concepts in real-world situations. Work discipline also significantly influences
teacher performance, as teachers consistently maintain their work schedules and
have a high awareness of the importance of attendance and punctuality. The
supervision of school principals still has a small influence on teacher
performance. School principals need to involve all school stakeholders (teachers, staff, students, parents) in the development of the curriculum/Disiplin dalam bekerja adalah hal yang utama dalam pelayanan pendidikan
seperti menaati dan menghormati peraturan yang tertulis maupun tidak tertulis, untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dalam bekerja. Di dalam proses mengajar guru
perlu pendampingan atau pengawasan dari kepala sekolah, melalui supervisi
kepala sekolah diharap guru dapat termotivasi menjadi guru yang profesionalitas
dan dapat mengembangkan kemampuan sehingga menjadi lebih inovatif. Metode
penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif analisis jalur
untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja, supervisi kepala sekolah dan perilaku
inovatif terhadap kinerja guru. Subjek penelitian 57 orang di sekolah XYZ Jakarta
Utara. Hasil penelitian bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara disiplin kerja, supervisi kepala sekolah dan perilaku inovatif terhadap kinerja guru. Perilaku
inovatif lebih besar pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja guru di sekolah hal ini
dikarenakan guru-guru memanfaatkan aplikasi atau platform online untuk
mendukung proses pembelajaran dan penerapan konsep dalam situasi dunia nyata, disiplin kerja cukup besar pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja guru hal ini dikarenakan
guru-guru konsisten dalam menjaga jadwal kerja dan memiliki kesadaran yang
tinggi tentang pentingnya kehadiran dan ketepatan waktu. Supervisi kepala
sekolah masih kecil pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja guru, kepala sekolah perlu
mengajak seluruh stakeholder sekolah (guru, staf, siswa, orang tua) untuk
berpartisipasi dalam pengembangan kurikulum
