Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Sosial Emosional (PSE) Kurikulum Merdeka melalui pembuatan film pendek bertema "Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila" di SMA Bina Putera. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masalah rendahnya kepercayaan diri, motivasi belajar, keterlibatan dalam pergaulan bebas, dan rendahnya interaksi dengan keberagaman budaya pada siswa SMA Bina Putera. Keberpusatan pada siswa dan fleksibilitas Kurikulum Merdeka yang digunakan oleh SMA Bina Putera, memungkinkan guru menyesuaikan metode pengajaran dengan kebutuhan siswa. Strategi PSE melalui pembuatan film pendek bertema "Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila", dipilih karena siswa berasal dari golongan Generasi Z yang menggemari teknologi dan menyukai konten berbasis narasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan melibatkan 23 siswa dan 7 guru sebagai informan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis hasil karya film siswa. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan film memperkuat karakter dan kompetensi siswa, serta meningkatkan kesiapan mereka untuk dunia kerja dan pendidikan tinggi. Kesimpulannya, PSE melalui pembuatan film pendek pada siswa SMA cocok dengan karakteristik Gen Z yang menyukai teknologi. Pembuatan film dapat mengembangkan KSE dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila mereka. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar sekolah juga meningkatkan fasilitas dan pelatihan guru mengenai KSE dan penggunaan media film untuk PSE. / This study analyzes the implementation of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum through the production of short films themed "Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students" at SMA Bina Putera. The background of this research constitutes the issues of low self-confidence, low motivation to learn, involvement in unhealthy lifestyles, and low interaction with cultural diversity among the students at SMA Bina Putera. The student-centered and flexible Merdeka Curriculum adopted by SMA Bina Putera allows the teachers to tailor the teaching methods to the students’ needs. The strategy of SEL through the production of short films themed "Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students" was chosen because the students belong to Generation Z, who favor technology and narrative-based contents. This research employed a case study design, involving 23 students and 7 teachers as informants. The data were collected through observations, interviews, and analysis of the students' film works. The findings have indicated that film productions may strengthen the students' characters and competencies and enhance their readiness for the workforce and higher education. In conclusion, SEL through short film productions is suitable for Senior-High school students who are part of Generation Z who are tech-savvy. Their Social Emotional Competencies (SEC) and the Profile of Pancasila Students can be developed through film productions. This study also suggests that schools should improve their facilities and provide some teacher training on SEC and the use of film media for SEL.
