Abstract
Since the implementation of distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, students have struggled to apply critical thinking steps and concept mastery, while teachers have also found it difficult to adapt to the changes. Digital literacy skills are crucial in this digital age, with an abundance of easily accessible information. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model to enhance critical thinking skills, concept mastery, and digital literacy in 11th-grade Biology at XYZ High School in Tangerang. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in three cycles involving planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. Preliminary study results show that most students have not yet applied critical thinking steps. A small number obtained low concept mastery scores, and the majority relatively lacked digital literacy skills, thus the research subjects will involve all 36 students. The research instruments used to collect data include assessment rubrics, interviews, written tests, and reflection journals. The representative average score for critical thinking skills in the class was 58 in the first cycle, 73 in the second cycle, and 76 in the third cycle. The representative average score for concept mastery in the class was 48 in the first cycle, 67 in the second cycle, and 74 in the third cycle. The representative average score for digital literacy skills in the class was 67 in the first cycle, 75 in the second cycle, and 84 in the third cycle. The average teacher competence score was 81.25 in the first cycle, 87.5 in the second cycle, and 100 in the third cycle. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the guided inquiry model can improve teacher competence, critical thinking skills, biology concept mastery, and digital literacy skills in high school. / Sejak pembelajaran jarak jauh yang dilakukan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 mengakibatkan siswa sulit menerapkan langkah berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep, serta menyulitkan guru juga beradaptasi terhadap perubahan. Keterampilan literasi digital sangat dibutuhkan pada masa digital dengan banyak dan mudahnya informasi yang diperoleh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, penguasaan konsep biologi dan literasi digital SMA kelas 11 di Tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilakukan dalam 3 siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa belum menerapkan langkah-langkah berpikir kritis. Sebagian kecil memperoleh nilai penguasaan konsep yang rendah, dan mayoritas relatif belum memiliki keterampilan literasi digital, sehingga subjek penelitian akan melibatkan seluruh siswa sebanyak 36 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah rubrik penilaian, wawancara, test tertulis dan jurnal refleksi. Nilai rata-rata representatif keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas pada siklus pertama adalah 58, siklus kedua 73, dan siklus ketiga 76. Nilai rata-rata representatif penguasaan konsep kelas pada siklus pertama adalah 48, siklus kedua 67, dan siklus ketiga 74. Nilai rata-rata representatif keterampilan literasi digital kelas pada siklus pertama adalah 67, siklus kedua 75, dan siklus ketiga 84. Nilai rata-rata kompetensi guru pada siklus pertama adalah 81,25, siklus kedua 87,5, dan siklus ketiga 100. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model inkuri terbimbing mampu meningkatkan kompetensi guru, keterampilan berpikir kritis, pemahaman konsep biologi, dan kemampuan literasi digital SMA.
