Abstract

Mastery of English concepts, communication skills, and collaboration skills are very important for 21st century students and need to be deveoped from an early age. These three competencies in class III, MI As-Saudiyah, are still not developed. To develop these three competencies, the teacher's ability to plan, implement and carry out evaluation and follow-up learning is required, so teacher competencies also need to be improved. This research aims to analyze the application of the station rotation learning model in improving concept mastery, communication skills, collaboration skills, and teacher’s competencies in English language learning in class III. The research method used is classroom action research, which consists of three cycles of planning, observation, action, and reflection in each cycle. The research subjects were 24 students. The research instrument used to obtain data was an assessment rubric to measure students' mastery of concepts, communication skills, and collaboration skills. The research results showed that there was an increase in mastery of concepts, communication skills, and collaboration skills. The average value of concept mastery in cycle one was 82.8, in cycle two, 76.7, and in cycle three, 83.3. The average value of communication skills in cycle one was 50.0, in cycle two 64.4, and in cycle three 74.7. The average score for collaboration skills in cycle one was 48.9, in cycle two, 71.3, and in cycle three, 80.4. The N-Gain of cycles 1 and 3 in mastery of cycle concepts is -0.2, communication skills is 0.5, n-gain of collaboration skills is 0.7, while the n-gain of teacher competency is 0.5. From these results it can be concluded that the Station Rotation learning model can improve grade 3 students' mastery of concepts, communication and collaboration skills and teacher competencies in English subjects at MI As-Saudiayah. / Penguasaan konsep bahasa Inggris, keterampilan komunikasi, keterampilan kolaborasi sangat penting dimiliki siswa abad 21 dan perlu dikembangkan sejak dini. Ketiga kompetensi tersebut di kelas III MI As-Saudiyah masih belum berkembang. Untuk mengembangkan ketiga kompetensi tersebut diperlukan kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan melakukan evaluasi dan tindak lanjut pembelajaran, maka kompetensi guru pun perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran Station Rotation dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep, keterampilan komunikasi, dan keterampilan kolaborasi, dan kompetensi guru pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di kelas III. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari tiga siklus dengan melakukan tahapan perencanaan, observasi, tindakan dan refleksi pada masing-masing siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah rubrik penilaian untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep, keterampilan komunikasi, dan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada penguasaan konsep, keterampilan komunikasi, dan keterampilan kolaborasi. Nilai rata-rata penguasaan konsep pada siklus satu adalah 82,8, pada siklus dua 76,7 dan pada siklus tiga 83,3. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan komunikasi pada siklus satu yaitu 50,0, pada siklus dua 64,4 dan pada siklus tiga 74,7. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan kolaborasi pada siklus satu yaitu 48,9, pada siklus dua 71,3 dan pada siklus tiga 80,4. N-Gain siklus 1 dan 3 pada penguasaan konsep siklus adalah-0,2, keterampilan komunikasi adalah 0,5, n-gain keterampilan kolaborasi adalah 0,7, sedangkan n-gain kompetensi guru adalah 0,5.Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpukan bahwa model pembelajaran Station Rotation dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep, keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi siswa dan kompetensi guru dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris kelas III di MI As-Saudiayah.
