Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine and analyze the antecedents of patient satisfaction post cardiac catheterization and its impact on health-related quality of life with moderation by perceived severity of cardiac disease. Empirical data analysis collected through purposive sampling. In total of 154 respondents whom answering online questionnaires was analyzed using Partial Least-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research findings indicate that treatment outcome, patient-physician communication, attentive care, organization of care, and hospital servicescape significantly and positively influence patient satisfaction after cardiac catheterization (p-value <0.05; CI 95%). Furthermore, patient satisfaction after cardiac catheterization significantly and positively influences health-related quality of life (p=0,000; =0,848). Perceived severity of cardiac disease does not moderate the relationship between patient satisfaction after cardiac catheterization and health-related quality of life. The research model demonstrates moderate explanatory power (R2), which increases to strong explanatory power in segment analysis (PLS-POS). The model also exhibits large predictive relevance (Q2_predict) for the patient satisfaction after cardiac atheterization variable. Overall predictive ability is confirmed by results from cross-validated prediction ability tests (CVPAT). The findings have managerial implications for developing factors which can improve patient satisfaction post cardiac catheterization in XYZ hospital. Selanjutnya, patient satisfaction berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap health-related quality of life (p=0,000; =0,848). Perceived severity of cardiac disease ditemukan tidak memoderasi secara signifikan terhadap pengaruh patient satisfaction after cardiac catheterization terhadap health-related quality of life.
