Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the Students Team Achievement Division (STAD) method to improve the students’ motivation, reflective skills, and learning performances. The research was conducted using a pra experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The instruments used in this research were two types of rubrics with a score scale of 4-3-2-1 and a written essay test. The data were collected by observations and the analysis of data was processed by Mean Calculation, Normalisation Gain Score and Wilcoxon Test. The results of the research show that the STAD method has proven to be able to improve the students’ motivation to learn, reflective skills, and learning performances. / Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis penerapan metode Students Team Achievement Division (STAD) dalam usaha meningkatkan motivasi belajar, kemampuan refleksi dan hasil belajar siswa di mata pelajaran Matematika. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode pra eksperimental dengan one group pretestposttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dua rubrik penilaian dengan skala 4-3-2-1 dan tes tertulis berbentuk uraian. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan analisa data hasil penelitian akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan perhitungan nilai Mean, perhitungan nilai Normalisasi Gain dan pengujian hipotesis dengan Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah metode STAD dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, kemampuan refleksi dan hasil belajar siswa.
