Abstract
This study aims to analyze the relationship between work stress, social support, workload,
financial satisfaction, and burnout in midwives in a health service environment. Crosssectional
surveys that use quantitative sampling assess these variables using standardized
measures. Statistical analysis revealed significant relationships: increases in job stress and
workload correlated with increases in burnout, while increases in social support and
financial satisfaction correlated with decreases in burnout levels. These findings underline
the importance of managing job stress and workload effectively to reduce the risk of
burnout among midwives. Strategies such as implementing flexible scheduling,
strengthening social support networks, and implementing comprehensive stress
management programs are recommended to safeguard midwives' well-being and maintain
optimal service delivery in healthcare settings. This research contributes to the
understanding of factors influencing burnout in the field of obstetrics, and provides
important insights for healthcare organizations seeking to effectively support their
workforce and improve overall patient care outcomes.
