Abstract

Berbagi pengetahuan di antara para akademisi sangat penting untuk inovasi dan pertumbuhan di institusi pendidikan tinggi. Namun, memperkenalkan budaya berbagi pengetahuan bisa jadi merupakan hal yang menantang. Penelitian ini menyelidiki faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi berbagi pengetahuan dan inovasi dosen di perguruan tinggi di Indonesia, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya saing global. Mengadopsi teori perilaku terencana, penelitian ini meneliti bagaimana sikap, norma subjektif, dan kontrol perilaku yang dirasakan membentuk niat dan perilaku berbagi pengetahuan dosen. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis bagaimana berbagi pengetahuan dan kepemimpinan yang dinamis mendorong perilaku kerja yang inovatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif untuk menentukan korelasi dan pengaruh antar variabel. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui formulir kuesioner online yang didistribusikan kepada sampel acak dosen dari 38 universitas yang berlokasi di Provinsi Banten, Indonesia. Survei ini memiliki 357 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan CB-SEM dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS AMOS 24. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sikap tidak secara signifikan mempengaruhi niat berbagi pengetahuan, namun norma subjektif dan kontrol perilaku yang dirasakan mempengaruhi niat berbagi pengetahuan. Selain itu, niat berbagi pengetahuan secara kuat memprediksi perilaku berbagi pengetahuan yang sebenarnya. Selain itu, kepemimpinan yang dinamis memediasi hubungan antara perilaku berbagi pengetahuan dan inovasi. Hasil ini menyoroti peran penting dari kepemimpinan yang dinamis dalam menerjemahkan berbagi pengetahuan menjadi inovasi. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan teoritis dan rekomendasi praktis dan manajerial bagi para pemimpin pendidikan tinggi yang ingin memanfaatkan berbagi pengetahuan dan kepemimpinan dinamis untuk peningkatan organisasi. Penelitian di masa depan yang lebih empiris perlu dilakukan untuk menyelidiki intervensi potensial untuk mendorong berbagi pengetahuan dan inovasi dosen di seluruh sistem pendidikan dan konteks budaya. / Knowledge sharing among academics is essential for innovation and growth in higher education institutions. However, introducing a culture of knowledge sharing can be challenging. This study investigates the factors that influence lecturers' knowledge sharing and innovation in Indonesian higher education institutions, aiming to improve global competitiveness. Adopting the theory of planned behaviour, this study examines how attitudes, subjective norms and perceived behavioural control shape lecturers' knowledge sharing intentions and behaviours. It also analyses how knowledge sharing and dynamic leadership encourage innovative work behaviour. This research uses quantitative analysis methods to determine the correlation and influence between variables. Primary data was collected through an online questionnaire form distributed to a random sample of lecturers from 38 universities located in Banten Province, Indonesia. The survey had 357 respondents. The analysis method used CB-SEM with the help of IBM SPSS AMOS 24 software. The results of this study show that although attitudes do not significantly influence knowledge sharing intention, subjective norms and perceived behavioural control influence knowledge sharing intention. Moreover, knowledge sharing intention strongly predicts actual knowledge sharing behaviour. In addition, dynamic leadership mediates the relationship between knowledge sharing behaviour and innovation. These results highlight the important role of dynamic leadership in translating knowledge sharing into innovation. This research provides theoretical insights and practical and managerial recommendations for higher education leaders who wish to leverage knowledge sharing and dynamic leadership for organisational improvement. More empirical future research needs to be conducted to investigate potential interventions to foster knowledge sharing and lecturer innovation across educational systems and cultural contexts.
