Abstract
Stres akademik merupakan kecemasan dan ketegangan seseorang terhadap tuntutan akademik yang berlebihan atau melebihi sumber daya individu. Stres akademik disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah pola pikir yang dimiliki mahasiswa. Pola pikir negatif yang dimiliki mahasiswa dapat menyebabkan berbagai dampak pada individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah Growth Mindset memiliki hubungan dengan stres akademik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional. Subjek penelitian merupakan mahasiswa aktif S1 yang berdomisili di Jabodetabek dengan sampel berjumlah 100 orang yang direkruit dengan teknik purposive sampling. Peneliti menggunakan skala stres akademik (33 item valid, α = 0.977) untuk mengukur tingkat stres akademik, dan Growth Mindset Scale (8 item valid, α = 0.930) untuk mengukur tingkat Growth Mindset partipan. Peneliti menganalisa data menggunakan teknik uji korelasi Spearman’s Rho dengan hasil rho = -0.679 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0.01). Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara tingkat stres akademik dengan Growth Mindset pada mahasiswa di Jabodetabek.

Academic stress is anxiety and tension experienced by someone due to excessive academic demands or exceeding individual resources. Academic stress is caused by several factors, one of which is the mindset of students. A negative mindset that students have can cause various impacts on individuals. This study aims to see if a Growth Mindset has a relationship with academic stress. The research method used in this study is a quantitative correlational method. The research subjects were active undergraduate students domiciled in Jabodetabek with a sample of 100 people recruited using purposive sampling techniques. The researcher used an academic stress scale (33 valid items, α = 0.977) to measure the level of academic stress, and the Growth Mindset Scale (8 valid items, α = 0.930) to measure the growth mindset level of participants. The researcher analysed the data using the Spearman’s Rho correlation test technique with a rho value of -0.679 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.01). The results in this study found that there was a significant negative relationship between the level of academic stress and growth mindset in students in Jabodetabek.
